What we handle from first inspection to final sale
We deal in the valuation and auction of used industrial machinery for businesses that need a clear market view before they make a move. That includes stand alone items, full plant, mixed lots and surplus equipment that needs to be sold as part of a site change, downsizing or closure. A valuation is an informed opinion of value based on the machine, condition, age, service history, attachments, market demand and sale method, not a guarantee of what it will fetch on auction.
Our work suits factories, workshops, warehouses and processing sites that need practical answers. We look at how the equipment is installed, what has to be disconnected, what can be lifted safely, and whether the sale should happen on site or from a holding yard. For some assets, a simple valuation is enough. For others, a full auction plan with photo listing prep, lotting and viewing days gives the best result.
- On site valuations for single machines or full plant
- Auction planning and seller representation
- Lotting and cataloguing for clear buyer viewing
- Asset inspections and reserve guidance
- Collection coordination and clearance sales
Who we serve across South Africa
We work with owners, directors, operations managers, liquidators, buyers and asset holders who need a careful approach to used machinery. Some want a value opinion before making a decision. Others need a sale plan that brings buyers in, keeps the listing accurate and manages the steps around access, rigging and handover. We also assist buyers who need realistic information before they travel or commit to a site visit.
Because our base is in Kempton Park, we are well placed for Gauteng work, but our assignments regularly reach Johannesburg, Pretoria, Germiston and Midrand, as well as Durban, Cape Town and Gqeberha. That means we understand the different practical needs of inland and coastal sites, from humidity around Durban and Gqeberha to load shedding related production gaps in Gauteng and operating hours that have to fit around municipal and site rules.
- Manufacturing and production sites
- Engineering workshops and metalworking plants
- Warehousing and distribution operations
- Food processing and packaging facilities
- Asset sales linked to change of ownership or closure
How our auction process works
Our process is built to keep sellers informed and buyers properly guided. It begins with an enquiry through the contact page form, then we arrange inspection, record the equipment, assess condition and note any known issues. From there we prepare the lot structure, auction schedule and viewing arrangements so buyers can review the assets before bidding. Good preparation matters because clear information helps both sides make better decisions.
We also handle reserve guidance where needed, which means advising on a minimum level the seller may want to protect. That is not a promise of sale and it is not a promise of price. It is part of the planning around the likely market response. For larger sites, we coordinate access, removal timing and closure support so the sale does not become a scramble on the day. The aim is straightforward, orderly and practical from start to finish.
